MASATO TOKUMARU

連続する風景と光の幾何学での遊び方を模索しながら、VJソフトウェアを使う事によって情報媒体の構築を試みています。
ウェブ上で起こる一連の出来事を収集し、それを私個人が過去に撮影した映像とその瞬間の出来事を捉えた映像をリアルタイムでリミックスし、アニメ、国際ニュース、ドキュメンタリーの映像を重ね合わせることで、私自身に体する個人的な尋問を別の場所に投影しています。時にはいくつかのカメラやプロジェクターを使用することで、音楽とビデオがサイケデリックな体験を助長するような世界を再現しているのです。

Autodidact, I started to develop his practice by shooting the surrounding of Kyoto with SD interlaced tape video. Seeking to play with landscapes sequences and light geometry my works evolved when I learned the use of VJing software. I started then to collect sequences on the web I would remix in real time with my own previously made and real time shooting sequences. By layering found footage of anime, international news, documentaries I manages to inject in different venues my own personal interrogations. Using sometimes several cameras and projectors, my recreating a world where music and video can be support of psychedelic experiences.
